Facet picture quiz

What’s my type of guy, physically?

“I like guys with short hair” sounds specific until you try picking them out of a crowd. A close crop frames a face one way. Glasses, a beard or a big smile can change what you notice first. Start with the men’s portraits and see which looks you return to.

Try putting a familiar preference to the test

You might already think you prefer beards. Give yourself room to pick the clean-shaven face in a particular set if it catches your eye. That choice creates a useful comparison. By the end of the round, the pictures you liked may have a different detail in common from the one you expected.

Why the count needs a denominator

In Facet’s original bank of 84 men’s quiz portraits, 58 are tagged short hair. A handful of short-haired favorites is easy to collect when that cut appears often. Your result uses the portraits you actually saw in your round. It compares the share you picked with the feature to the share you picked without it.

Read your card alongside the faces

Start with the three representative portraits, then read the finding below them. If glasses kept coming up on the faces you chose, those examples can help you decide what you liked about the look. A portrait shows styling and expression. Discovering how you feel about a person’s voice, humor or company takes meeting them.
